Awarded Best of 2024; Photographer, Post Falls, ID
By Business Rate. "This award is given in recognition of excellence based on what truly matters-customer reviews"
One of the most fun moments for me is when my clients get to see their finished photos for the first time. I joined Rena for a cup of coffee and the big reveal!

"Kris was absolutely amazing!. We were nervous how our pups would do. She made it so comfortable, and most importantly got some INCREDIBLE shots. From her Instagram, I kept thinking "oh those are just super well behaved dogs", but mine weren't perfect yet we got the most perfect photos! She makes the experience so relaxed and the dogs (and dog parents) match that vibe. Our prints are treasures we will cherish for the rest of our lives. We are so grateful to Kris!"

"Juju was a part of the Colorado Pet Pantry 2025 Calendar Contest. Not only were we able to raise money for a good cause but Juju made the calendar! May I introduce you to Miss May 2025! I decided to add a sitting of the 2 of us to the calendar photo shoot. Best idea ever!!! OMG! The shots that Kris was able to get of my sweet girl brought tears to my eyes. She worked her butt off (laying on the ground, treats, squeakers, etc) and was able to capture the sweet and silly that is my lil Juju. Can't say enough about Kris and her work! Looking for someone to capture the essence of your fur-baby and your relationship with them? Give Kris a call!"

"Kris is an amazing animal photographer. She has an eye for detail and is able to get the perfect shot. She put our nervous Irish wolfhound at ease allowing us to make beautiful memories we will cherish furever! Highly recommend!"

"Kris had exceptional patience in herding 5 dogs, 3 kids and 2 frantic moms to get shots that appear calm, beautiful and memorable— which is what we were going for despite the winter temperatures and the energy of dogs and humans under 10 years old. When the photos were ready, Kris took the time to show them to us one by one and to help us choose the ones that match the spaces (two homes). And she helped us to find the right space in our house to showcase the photos. I don’t have an artistic eye, so this help was like having an interior designer consultation and I’m so grateful. Then once the prints were complete, Kris made the trip to our home again and hung them quickly. Left to my own devices, I’m sure the prints would still be in their boxes. Now, we get to show our guests the photos daily and I even added a stack of Kris’s business cards next to the wall of photos since so many people have asked for her information. This experience is an investment, and it’s one we’ll cherish, and add to, for life."

Mainstreet Pediatrics Installation
When Lorri & Brian invited me to turn their dogs photo session into whimsical and fantastic installation in their new pediatric office expansion, I was chomping at the bit to get started! The original collection spanned what would become a 26 foot hallway. Construction delays & supply chain issues drew the project out. And when it came time to install, Lorri & Brian had a surprise, new puppies! While Colorado weather prevented me from getting to meet the new pups while they were little, Lorri had some adorable photos she wanted to add to the collection. And so a minor redesign and we expanded from one wall to three!
Creating beautiful images is just the beginning. I believe that photographs are meant to be seen and enjoyed every single day!
So I endeavor to create for my clients, not just beautiful photographs, but stunning artwork that will light up your home & remind you of all the love you share every time you walk into a room.

Puppy Playtime
Brian & Lorri commissioned me to create another beautiful & playful collection featuring their adorable Bulldog puppy John Glenn aka Johnny. Johnny also happens to be the cover dog for our 2022 Colorado's Next Top Pet Model Calendar Contest! So he's something of a superstar. This fun series was shot as Brian played fetch with Johnny, tossing his favorite disk into the tall grass for him to hunt. In creating the collection Lorri wanted the final installation to convey the action of the morning's fun.
Dog Approved!
It's not every day you get to photograph in someone's backyard oasis. So when Steph asked me to come create some beautiful family photos as a Father's Day gift for Steve I was, of course, happy to help out. And when she asked if we could photograph at home so Velcro and Shelby could run and play on their own turf, I said of "course!" Though I was secretly a little anxious. Working with someone's back yard can present lots of challenges, like will it be big enough for action and family shots? Will the light work for us or against us? Will there be chain-link? (oh please don't let there be chain-link) But when I arrived at the lovely home Steph & Steve share with their sweet dogs, Shelby & Velcro just as the sun was filtering across the freshly mowed rolling green lawn and stepped into what can only be described a every dogs dream yard, I knew we were going to have some beautiful photos to help make this families new house feel more like a home. Tik-tik's Big Adventure
Rebecca & Tik-tik have spent countless hours exploring the trails of Red Rocks together. So when we talked about a Legacy photo session, no other local was quite as perfect.
Make a bold statement
Here's a little hyperlapse to one of the most nerve-wracking installs to date. This large acrylic print required all hands on deck and enlisted the help of my wonderful husband. That wasn't the unnerving part. Because of the size and fragile nature of the piece I didn't unwrap it until right before it went on the wall, so I just had to cross my fingers that all was perfect from the lab to the install. But truly I couldn't have been more elated with the final result.
