Brix is the quintessential ranch dog. No one comes to visit his horses, his goats, or his Mom without his thorough investigation. In fact, even as a tiny puppy Brix was deemed “The Watcher” because he would find a high vantage point to keep watch while his siblings played. Photographing this big guy in the setting sun was mostly a matter of long lenses and crouching in the tall grass while he zig-zagged through the field looking for bunnies to chase, returning to his Mom’s side for a quick pat of reassurance before something else caught his hound-dog nose.

Nothing gets by those beautiful blue eyes.

He could chase rabbits & cows all day long!

…but then he’d miss out getting those cuddles that prove he’s a “good boy”
