Bella & Sidney's Heritage Farm Adventure
It was a shockingly warm Fall afternoon when I met Mary Ann & Greg at Lions Park for their Fall photo session with their 11 year old Lab, Bella, and 11 month old Aussie-Poo Sidney.
And it was harder than usual to find them. The normally picturesque Lions Park was totally overrun with a local cycling festival. When photographing in public spaces you always run the risk of surprises! I showed up to Clear Creek once to find a kayak competition going on. Another time (at another park in downtown Denver) we showed up to find the park was completely closed for construction. Those two called for on the fly re-planning. But, lucky for us, the cycle festival was taking place in a part of the park we didn’t plan to use anyway.
Bella took everything in stride with the calm wisdom of her years. Sidney was a little stressed by all the commotion.
Once we got away from the crazy crowd little Sidney came out of her shell.
Setting up for our first few shots it was hard not to be taken aback by the absolute adorableness of this couple & their cutie-pups!!! Amiright?!
But I did promise to refrain from any posing that was too smooshy-smooshy.
Little Sidney clearly takes after her big sister! I was absolutely AMAZED at how well behaved she was for such a youngster.
After a brief visit to Clear Creek we headed for the heritage farm that sits just over the bridge. And I was so glad too! Other than being quieter the farm gave us some great photos.
And after working up a sweat taking such beautiful photos it was back to Clear Creek for some puppy play time! Everybody got in on the fun when it came to their giant neon fuzzy ball.
With so many gorgeous shots to choose from I just had to create this canvas collection with their new home in mind.
